Cancellation and payment conditions
Cancellation / reduction for bookings up to 9 persons / 4 bedrooms can be made at no cost up to 12.00 midday the day before the expected arrival date or arrangement date. Cancellation later than this time, or a no show, will result in charges equaling the total amount of the booking being made.
Cancellation / reduction in bookings for groups from 10 guests / 5 rooms, must be made in writing 3 weeks prior to the expected date of arrival or arrangement date. Notice later than this time, will result in charges up to 75% of the agreed booking price being applied.
Charges equaling up to 100 % of the booking price will be applied on all cancellations or reductions made later than 5 days before the expected date of arrival or arrangement date.
Cancellation / reduction for larger bookings with groups – from 40 guests / 12 rooms must be made in writing at least 4 weeks prior to the expected date of arrival or arrangement date. Notice later than this time, will result in charges up to 75% of the agreed booking price being applied.
Charges equaling up to 100 % of the booking price will be applied on all cancellations or reductions made later than 8 days before the expected date of arrival or arrangement date.
All cancellations or changes to a reservation must be made in writing pr. email to the hotel in accordance with the above cancellation terms and conditions.
It is highlighted, that for certain deals/offers or campaigns, refunds do not apply for modified or cancelled reservations. In such circumstances, this will be clearly stated on the confirmation of order.
The room is at your disposal from 14:00 on the day of arrival until 10:30 on the day of departure. If the departure time is not complied with, the hotel reserves the right to charge you for the room rate according to the applicable list prices. The hotel welcomes requests for room facilities, but these will always only be confirmed at check-in.
Strikes, lockouts, fire damage or similar unforeseen events beyond the hotel’s control, entitle the hotel to terminate the agreement without damage compensation of any kind. Reservations are usually made for government interventions in the hotel industry, such as tax changes or similar, which entitle the hotel to corresponding price increases.
The person(s) registered as placing the reservation shall remain responsible for the payment of all expenses, even if payment is to be met by individual participants, with all costs not paid for by the individual participants, automatically debited to the main bill.
At the same time, we highlight that Fakkelgaarden will not send bills out of house and require that full and final settlement of all charges is made on the day of departure or via prepayment as required.
Cancellation must be made in writing.
All prices are total prices inclusive of VAT, service and environmental charges.
Fees shall apply for credit card payments in accordance with applicable law.
Forgotten items are often sent by prepayment of the associated postage.
Smoking is not allowed in the hotel. Please contact the staff for further information.
It is not allowed to bring pets.
